Camping Gas Grills Aren’t Just For The Great Outdoors

Portable gas grills, like the Coleman Red Two Burner, have a variety of uses.  I have found that this light, yet efficient gas grill is excellent for camping, especially with an electronic ignition system that saves me a ton of messing around with matches. A gas grill that lights the first time, every time, is a must-have out in the wilderness.  When I’m out in the middle of nowhere and all the wood is wet, this is not the time to find out why my bargain basement grill was so cheap.

Even if camping isn’t on my list for that month, I always make sure to have some sort of portable gas grill or camping grill on hand.  It can be a portable like the Coleman, or a stand-alone like the Grill 2 Go, that also sports an ice chest; whatever suits my needs and space.  Why?  Because as long as I have a store of propane, it doesn’t matter whether I have power or what time of year it is, I can cook.  And while a camping gas grill should never be used inside, having a hot meal can go a long way toward making a power outage more comfortable. If the power’s out for several days, the gas grill will pay for itself by cooking food before it rots.

There are gas grills to fit every taste, budget, and space.  Beginner or expert; compact balcony or great big yard; avid camper or not so much, there is a fit for your gas grilling needs.  The right portable gas or camping grill can make a huge difference in every outdoor cooking adventure; especially if that gas grilling adventure is right outside the back door.
